Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-10-16

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://aiacademylab.org and of any early-access program offered by AI Academy Lab ("we", "us"). By using the website or joining an early-access program you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. The website

The website presents our company and products and lets you contact us. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions. Information on the site is general and is not an offer or professional advice.

2. Early-access program

An early-access program gives selected users access to pre-release software and related material. You accept that:

  • pre-release software is provided "as is" and "as available", and may contain errors;
  • features may change, be suspended or be withdrawn at any time;
  • no service level (availability, support, response times) applies unless we agree one in a separate written agreement;
  • we may end or limit your access at any time, for example if you breach these terms.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will be admitted.

3. Confidentiality

Early-access software, documentation, roadmaps and any other material that is not public are confidential. Use them only to evaluate the product, do not disclose them to third parties, and do not publish benchmarks, screenshots or descriptions of them without our written permission. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the website or any program for unlawful purposes or in breach of others' rights;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of components that are not open source, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
  • scrape, overload, probe or otherwise abuse the website or our services in a way that harms them or other users;
  • try to bypass security measures or access areas you are not authorized to use.

5. Intellectual property

The content of the website, including texts, graphics, logos and the AI Academy Lab name and brand, belongs to AI Academy Lab and is protected by law. You may not copy or reuse it beyond what the law permits without our written permission.

Open-source projects such as PureDrive are governed by their own licenses, for example Apache-2.0, which are published with each project. See our repositories at https://github.com/AIAcademyLab. Where a project's license and these terms differ for that project's code, the license prevails.

6. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites, such as GitHub or Hugging Face. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply.

7. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the website and any early-access software are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AI Academy Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, data or business, or for any damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or pre-release software. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory law of your country of residence, including consumer protection rights.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
